Our commitment to sustainable hospitality
The environment is important to us.
For this reason, we are committed to offering our guests a stay experience that respects and enhances our natural and cultural environment, through a series of concrete and quantifiable actions.
Monitoring and reducing consumption
We use energy-efficient technologies, such as LED lights, motion sensors in the hallways and remote room management. We educate guests on responsible water and electricity use.
Waste reduction
We adopt a policy of reducing single-use plastic and encourage recycling through dedicated containers throughout the facility.
GREEN COURTESY LINE: We use dispensers with biodegradable and Ecolabel-certified products. A limited range of toiletries is available upon request, packaged in FSC or PEFC-certified paper. We partner with TooGoodToGo to resell our breakfast leftovers.
Support for the territory and sustainable tourism
We collaborate with local suppliers to promote locally sourced products. We encourage responsible behavior toward cultural heritage and biodiversity. The hotel features beautiful photos by Alex Palara, a Delta photographer and our director. They depict Ferrara's monuments and local wildlife, along with tips for protecting them.
GREEN MOBILITY: We offer storage for guests' bikes, bike rental during the summer, a charging station for electric cars and 500 bonus points for those who reach the hotel by train or shared bus.
Awareness, Training and Sustainable Work
We monitor our employees' well-being, offer them flexible hours and discounted rates at other Best Western and Fabbri Hotels hotels. We train our staff on good environmental practices and engage our guests with tips and suggestions for a more sustainable stay.
Green Programs
We participate in the Stay Plasticless program to reduce plastic waste, Stay For The Planet to monitor and measure our sustainable actions, and Go.Get.Green to encourage our guests to do their part for the planet by choosing not to re-clean their rooms.
Our concrete support in the years 2024-2025
