The city of Ferrara is now recognized by all parties as the Italian city of the bicycles, a set of statistical data are projecting Ferrara in the head at every rank on the use of two wheels.
In the city there are as many as 84 km of cycle paths and the percentage of use of the bike is 30%, there is even a Bicycle Office!
Of course it was not always the case but it is the fruit of a tenacious cultural enhancement work of the bicycle as urban transport optimal tool conducted in the last ten years with a progressive and undeniable support of the citizens, the move-by-bike it fits in good urban planning that has earned the recognition of Ferrara World Heritage site and as such falls within the Management Plan for the protection and Preservation of UNESCO sites is a concept that went establishing itself gradually but that is totally shared today by citizens, traders and politicians, SEEING IS BELIEVING!

Parking is easy!
Ferrara offers the possibility of numerous parking places at very affordable rates, the historic center is a pedestrian area, but you can still go through the city using Viale Cavour and Corso Giovecca that cross Ferrara.
