The cycle paths, surrounded by greenery, run along the walls surrounding the city, but also the historic center, the pedestrian areas and the main avenues. Immerse yourself in nature with the navigation on the Po river.

The center of Ferrara and its province host numerous events throughout the year: exhibitions, markets, theatrical performances, the very famous Buskers Festival, Ferrara under the stars and many others are just some of the events that confirm the liveliness of the beautiful Ferrara and its province, not to forget Comacchio and the Po Delta.
The excellent location of our hotel will allow you to easily reach the city center, both by car and by bicycle, while the Delta is about 40 minutes away by car.

Visit to the medieval city (2h on foot)
Access to the medieval city with a visit to the main streets, such as Via delle Volte, an ancient street supporting commercial activity where many elevated passageways can still be seen. Walk through the Jewish Ghetto: the origins of the Ferrara Jewish community are very ancient. View of the Ducal Palace, now the Town Hall, ancient residence of the Este family. View of the Cathedral, with its perfect fusion between Romanesque and Gothic styles. Finally, external view of the imposing Estense Castle, a late fourteenth-century defensive fortress characterized by a large defensive moat full of water.
Visit to the medieval and Renaissance city (2h and 30 min on foot)
As above, continuing in the Renaissance area, along Corso Ercole I D’Este, the futuristic Renaissance urban plan designed at the end of the 15th century, with a final stop near the famous Palazzo dei Diamanti.
Visit to the medieval and Renaissance city + 5km on the city walls (2h30 by bike)
As above, from Palazzo Diamanti we continue for a tour of about 5 km around the Renaissance city walls, one of the longest and best preserved in Italy, characterized by the typical Italian-style “bastioned” front.
Visit to the Estense Castle with paid access + walk in the historic center
Visit to the Estense Castle, which was originally a defensive fortress and, subsequently, a splendid Renaissance residence of the Duke and his Court. Visit to the ancient Gothic rooms, the kitchens, the prisons. By paying an extra ticket, it’s possible to get on top of the Tower of the Lions and enjoy a beautiful view of the ancient city.
Cus Golf Club
A few kilometers from the hotel, in the splendid setting of the urban park, is the Cus Golf Club of Ferrara.
Born in 1988, when Giovanni Trasforini proposed to the managers of CUS Ferrara to use some land adjacent to the university sports area to create a golf training camp.
Today, it’s an important reality in the city’s sporting world;
it has more than 200 members, some of whom regularly participate in the most important regional and national competitions.
Navigation on the Po river
